Burtt's Apple Orchard
We are big time fall/October fans, so we went to an apple orchard when we were in Vermont and it was absolutely magical. We picked a variety of apples and then made a charcuterie board with them at home.
Including Montpelier, Stowe and Burlington
We only spent two days in Vermont on our way from New Hampshire to upstate New York, but we absolutely LOVED it. It ended up being one of our favorite places we’ve been to yet.
We visited an apple orchard, a sugarhouse (where maple syrup is made) the Websterville quarry, Montpelier, Stowe and Burlington.
We spent the night in Montpelier and loved the beautiful capitol city.

We went to a sugarhouse while we were in Vermont, which is where maple syrup is made. It was really interesting to see how syrup is made, and we bought some delicious souvenirs here.
We stayed the night in Montpelier, which is the capitol of Vermont. We thought it was absolutely beautiful here and it really made us fall in love with Vermont!
We visited Stowe primarily to hike to the top of Mount Mansfield in the Green Mountains, which is the tallest mountain in Vermont. While here, we also hiked Bingham Falls and went to Cold Hollow Cider Mill.
We stopped in Websterville on our way to Montpelier to visit the quarry there, which was really beautiful and interesting.
Since Ben & Jerry’s started in Vermont, they have their factory there that you can tour. It was fun to see how it was made, and we particularly loved the “Flavor Graveyard” there.
