The Tetons and Yellowstone

With our Airbnb located in Jackson, our time was spent visiting Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

Our favorite things we did in the Grand Tetons were the Jenny Lake Loop (stopping at Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point), Taggart and Bradley Lakes, String Lake, and the Colter Bay Lakeshore Trail.

Our favorite things we did in Yellowstone were West Thumb Basin, Mystic Falls, Fairy Creek and Little Firehole Loop, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Hayden Valley.

We also went on a guided whitewater rafting trip of the Snake River which was epic and a lot of fun.

While here, Trevor summited Middle Teton, a 15 mile hike with 6000 feet elevation gain, up one of the iconic Tetons of the Grand Tetons.

Grand Teton National Park

The Tetons is an iconic mountain range with beautiful lakes and diverse wildlife. Our favorite hikes that we did were the Jenny Lake Loop and the Taggart and Bradley Lake Loop. Trevor also summited the Middle Teton, a 15 mile hike with 6000 feet of elevation gain.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is one of the most classic national parks. It's home to more hot springs and geysers than any other place on earth. We made a big loop of the park over the course of a weekend, visiting all the major stops and iconic areas.

We set out for Yellowstone really early in the morning and had great sunrise views of the Tetons
