The Grand Staircase

The next stop on our tour of southern Utah was Escalante, for it’s proximity to Hole in the Rock Road in the Grand Staircase-Escalante.

While we were here, we did  Willis Creek, Zebra + Tunnel slot canyons, the Devil’s Garden, Coyote Gulch, Red Breaks + Cosmic Ashtray, Escalante Petrified Forest State Park, the Hundred Hands panel, and Upper Calf Creek Falls.

Escalante has an unending amount of amazing adventures and we’re excited to come back throughout our lives.

Willis Creek

On our way from St. George to Escalante, we stopped to hike Willis Creek, which is near Kodachrome Basin. This was such a stunning and unique slot canyon, and fairly easy as well.
