Cuyahoga Valley National Park hikes
Our favorite hikes we did here were the Ledges trail and the Brandywine Falls trail. The ledges trail felt similar at times to a southern Utah hike due to its gorges and ledges.
Including Gorge Metro Park and the Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is located close to the cities of Cleveland and Akron, but offers an outdoor reprieve from the urban life.
We stayed for one week in an Airbnb in Stow, which is only a 10 minute drive away from the park. We went hiking every single day after work.
We loved the hikes we did here, the forests were lush and deep surrounded by interesting rock ledges. There’s also a scenic railroad through the park that we did that was pretty fun.

There’s a scenic railroad that winds it’s way through the National park, offering a quick way to experience the scenery of the park.
The Gorge Metro Park is another beautiful outdoor recreation area located nearby the national park.
We made an impromptu stop at a farm that we drove past that ended up being one of favorite things we did here. Since it was October, we walked through their pumpkin patch and corn maze.
